Night Practice This Week! (Possibly)

The idea of a summertime night practice had never really occurred to me until I went to one put on by another high school last week. It was a great environment and the cooler temps allowed athletes to hit some faster paces that they couldn’t normally get to in the hotter AM practices.

I know it’s late notice, but I am trying to set up a possible night practice for our group this week, since it’s our last full week before camp, and then the start of the season. I am currently looking at doing it on Thursday or Friday of this week, and it would be at either Echo Park or Douglas County (so we could do it under the lights.) It would also be an open practice, meaning parents would be welcome to attend and meet coaches and other parents, as well as see your kids in action during a workout.

All of that to say, I know that last second swings in schedule can be challenging. If it ends up being inconvenient for too many, I will just push it back to next summer.

CVXC Season
